OUR MISSION

Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

WHAT WE DO

The PS5 PTA is a member of the National PTA and 501(c)3 charitable organization. Our purpose is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families, teachers, administrators and communities to advocate for all children.

To do this we:

• promote the welfare of children and youth in school and community;

• host fundraisers, coordinate volunteers;

• support and facilitate after school programs;

• support and encourage our teachers and administration;

• and bring parents and teachers may closer together to cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth;

We always strive to make sure that our efforts involve everyone and work towards helping our children fulfill the Dr. Michael Conti School Vision.

The Jersey City PS5 PTA is a not-for-profit local affiliate of the National PTA. 

Every donation we receive goes toward providing better and more services to our school so we can see all the children at PS5 reach their potential and beyond.
